About Kochi
Kochi is an online platform operated by WeAreKochi Ltd that allows freelance sports coaches to list their services and players to discover and connect with them for private coaching sessions. Kochi acts solely as a listing and discovery platform and does not directly organise, manage, or oversee coaching sessions.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Kochi, whether as a coach or a player, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the platform.

Coach Verification
All coaches listed on Kochi must verify their DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) or CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) status prior to being approved for listing. Kochi reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove any coach’s profile if appropriate verification is not provided or if concerns arise regarding safeguarding or professional conduct.

Use of the Platform
For Coaches:
Coaches are responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date information on their profiles. Coaches must not misrepresent their qualifications, experience, or DBS/CRB status. They agree to uphold appropriate safeguarding and professional standards during all coaching activities.

For Players:
Players are responsible for assessing the suitability of any coach they choose to contact. Players make their own arrangements and agreements for coaching sessions with coaches.

No Employment or Agency Relationship
By using Kochi, coaches acknowledge that they are not employees, workers, or agents of WeAreKochi Ltd. Kochi is solely a platform that provides exposure and discovery opportunities for freelance coaches and makes no employment or contractual commitments.

Liability Disclaimer
Kochi does not oversee, participate in, or accept responsibility for coaching sessions arranged through
the platform.

WeAreKochi Ltd accepts no liability for:

Personal injury, loss, or damage resulting from coaching sessions.
Misconduct, negligence, or failure by coaches or players.
Disputes or disagreements between coaches and players.
Subscriptions and Payments
Kochi will operate as a free platform for both coaches and players for the first six months following
launch. After this period:

Coaches will have the option to subscribe to a Basic or Pro membership plan.
Subscription details, pricing, and features will be clearly communicated before introduction
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Community Commitments
WeAreKochi Ltd is committed to making a positive social impact. A portion of annual revenue will be
donated towards community projects and charitable initiatives, including:

Building schools and sports facilities in Africa.
Funding coaching licences for underprivileged individuals in the UK.
Offering free coaching sessions and partnerships with schools.

Amendments
WeAreKochi Ltd reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be posted
on this page and, where appropriate, notified to users via email or platform notification.
